Our CPA 6 Team

Ethel (SG)
Chili Padi was the key thing that kick started Ethel’s environmental journey back in 2019, and since then she’s grown to take on leadership positions in steering and guiding the team. Other than environmental issues, Ethel is also passionate about and has advocated for a range of social issues, with gender equality being particularly close to her heart. Ethel would like to see herself as an activist, learner-researcher, community-builder, and facilitator.

Nadiyah (IN)
Nadiyah is a double degree student in Sampoerna University and University of Arizona majoring in Digital Marketing. She was a CPA 3 participant and came back to Chili Padi as a facilitator in 2021 to help this cycle become a delightful programme! She’s really excited to work together with youths that have good spirit and are actively supporting environmental activism.

Andy (MY)
Andy Steve is an Malaysian undergraduate electrical engineering student aiming to contribute in environmentalism. By using the technical means he has, he is currently looking forward to be involved and provide insights in energy efficiency and generation by incorporating modern or traditional solutions. He is also interested in Physical Sciences and Mathematics, and he is looking forward how going interdisciplinary may help climate action to be more effective and efficient.

Glenda (SG)
Glenda is a freshie at Yale-NUS, and hopes to major in Environmental Studies! When she first participated in CPA 3, she found it so challenging (but rewarding) that she decided to return as a facilitator in 2021. In her dream society, every youth feels confident and engaged to tackle the social issues they are interested in. Glenda hopes to be an awesome educator who inspires and motivates youths to be better versions of themselves.

Fata (IN)
Fata is first year student at Gadjah Mada University majoring in Geological Engineering. He was participant in CPA cycle 4 and now he’s helping in CPA cycle 6! Fata is really interested in new and renewable energy, especially in geothermal geology, and disaster management.

Praga (MY)
Praga was a facilitator in CPA5, currently is functioning as the core member treasurer to the organisation. She is a person who likes to explore in new hobbies and art and craft, currently working as a software Engineer.

Jia Min (SG)
Jia Min is a second-generation Singaporean whose parents came from fishing and farming families in neighbouring Malaysia. Besides her degree focused on ecology she has delved into education, theatre, creative writing and philosophy and would like to believe and create a world where there’s nothing one can’t do if one wants to.

Putri (IN)
Putri is a second year student at Padjadjaran University majoring in Political Science, and was also engaged in the 4th cycle as a participant. She’s particularly interested in learning about the green economy and promoting an inclusive environmental education.

Miko (PH)
Miko was a participant for CPA 5 and went on to join the team after! He is currently a sophomore undergraduate student in the Philippines.

Nafla (SG)
Hello! I was a participant in CPA 4 and a facilitator for CPA 5. I am very excited to work with YOUths from the region and encouraging environmental advocacy. I love being part of people’s journeys, seeing and encouraging their growth not just in their environmental journeys but their personal ones as well!

Amelia (ID)
Amelia is a third year Biology student at Universitas Al-Azhar Indonesia. She was a CPA 3 participant and returned as a facilitator due to the impact CPA had on her life.
